In the first phase of the performance Stillness, the performer held continuously their arms horizontally elevated for 7 hours and 45 minutes before the audience arrived in the space. In the second phase, the audience witnessed the performance. Using a brainwave sensor, a resonance platform is activated by the performer’s brain signals turning into vibrations in real-time through a transducer attached on the platform they stand upon. At the same time, a real-time live feed projected the performer’s body from different angles. In the third phase, the performer became part of the audience while the video documentation of the performer stepping on the platform at the beginning of the first phase was projected, transforming the performance space into a video installation.
